“quintio für bexio” — the free extension on the Chrome Web Store
quintio now lives in your browser too: the “quintio für bexio” extension brings three features straight into the bexio interface — the VAT return as ESTV XML, the chart of accounts as PDF, and the city filled in from the postcode.
VAT return as XML: a complete eCH-0217 declaration, ready for upload to the ESTV ePortal — with a consistency check against figure 500 of your bexio return.
Chart of accounts as PDF: cleanly typeset in portrait or landscape, columns of your choice, file name with company and date.
Postcode → city: you type the postcode, quintio fills in the city from the official swisstopo locality directory — and never overwrites what you typed yourself.
Free with a quintio account: the passwordless sign-in in the quintio panel unlocks all three features — for Chrome, Brave and Edge from version 133.
Your bexio data stays in your browser: form contents, amounts and receipts are not transmitted — at most the name of a usage event.
Dedicated folders for supplier invoices and expenses
Documents from the bexio inbox no longer end up in one shared folder: quintio creates a dedicated Drive folder for supplier invoices and one for expenses.
Two new folders in your quintio mirror: “Supplier invoices” and “Expenses”.
Files that were already mirrored move to the right folder automatically — nothing to do on your side.
Existing links to individual files keep working after the move.

File names that follow your scheme — retroactively too
You decide what your mirrored files are called: set up the scheme once and quintio names every file automatically — on request including everything already in your Drive.
A naming scheme built from blocks like document date, type, number and contact — in the portal under Settings › File names.

Without a scheme every file name stays exactly as it is in bexio — and nothing ever changes in bexio itself.
