Why are certain document types missing? bexio plan differences
A document type does not appear in your Drive — with no error message? Usually your bexio plan does not expose that feature via the API. quintio then skips it deliberately; everything else continues in full.

Symptom: a document type does not show up in your Google Drive — there is no folder for it and no error message. Cause: your bexio plan does not expose that feature via the API. quintio then skips the type deliberately instead of raising an error — all other document types are mirrored in full, unaffected. After a plan upgrade it fixes itself: quintio checks your plan automatically and catches up on the unlocked types, history included.
How to recognise it
- The document type’s folder simply does not exist in your Drive (folders only appear with their first file — no folder here means: no files exposed).
- There is no error message — that is intentional: a feature not included in your plan is not a defect but a property of your bexio subscription.
- Cross-check in bexio itself: if the feature (say, purchase orders) is missing there too or marked as an upgrade, it is the plan — not quintio.
Which document types can be affected
bexio unlocks API features depending on the plan. Confirmed by our observations so far:

On all other plans, quintio attempts all ten document types as a matter of principle — if your plan does not expose something, exactly that one type is skipped, never more. The overview of all ten types lives in “What does quintio back up into your Google Drive?”.
The fix
- Nothing to do if you do not need the type. The mirror is complete for everything your plan provides.
- Upgrade the plan at bexio if you need it. As soon as your new plan exposes the feature, quintio detects the change during the automatic weekly plan check and starts mirroring the document type, full history included — nothing to reconfigure.
